I really never could get into his style. As an excercise in excellence, awesome rider. I just felt he had no "Rossi factor".

I also thought he was a punk when Rossi apologized to him and he wasn't gracious enough to accept it.

The kid was exciting to watch from day 1 til his final race. His personality (disorder) was kinda fascinating to me. He may have actually had a break from reality there at the end of his career. He said some very strange stuff, at least reportedly. I would read it with interest.

Hey Degsy, I know you don't mean it like that. I'm on page 250, about the time he's about to move up to MotoGP. His upbringing is interesting, lots of living in campers and RVs. He openly admits that he's not sure if he would be as much into baseball or soccer, but the fact was he grew up in a remote area in Australia and didn't have neighbors, so all he had was his 50cc bike and his sister (whose also motorcycle champion before the age of 9). He got bullied a lot in grade school and eventually got home schooled.
