I just put the insurance back up on my bike today, and will need to get a sticker soon. I have inegrated turn signals in the rear and don't know if I'll get shit for it..... any place you guys and gals recommend that's somewhat close to me who won't so much care about that....
I have never heard of any one having a issue. As someone else said to me, its in a DOT stamped fixture. So theoretically it should be OK.
On a similar note: Can I get a Vermont sticker if I have a fender eliminator? All the ones I have seen for a CBR use the underside of the taillight as a plate light.

For every action there is an equal but opposite reaction - and sometimes a scar...
They don't seem to have an issue with my stock integrated setup....![]()
The law is stupid in how it picks what is legal and illegal... The bottom line is this: Is your "illegal" lighting arrangement safe?
You wouldn't catch me riding a bike that did not have separately colored turn signals and brake lights... to dangerous when the cagers are already not paying attention to us.

I dont have a issue with cbr kit, it has its own light. It never works, but it exsits.
The turn signals have to be X" apart (I think its something like 16" or 19") They can fail you if they want.
I second the HD place. Just go in when there is a line of bikes that even YOU know will fail. Write down some plate numbers (without letting them see you) and if the question ANYTHING... BLACKMAIL![]()
so I can just submit this list of plate numbers of bikes that should have failed to the RMV...

i think it's more like 8 inches apart. I have integrated rear signals as well & had my bike inspected at Kirkers. They said somethin about it and i had to go home and mount the stock turn signals... He knew i didn't wire em, i just stuck em back on then took em off when i went home, but he passed me

But (Most) HD inspection stations dont do much of an inspection!!!!!! SO I wouldn't worry about them there.....

I have never inspected a bike in my life. This includes all of the sport bikes and the rat Harley that I owned when I was a teenager. I have never been stopped for it, and if you are you have 7 days to get one with out any problems (in RI anyway)..
