That's a sweet gorilla ladder you have there![]()
~ Life passes most people by while they're busy making grand plans for it.~
It's actually a Little Giant. Pretty much the same thing.
I've already started replacing stuff on the bike. The Sargent seat is back on it, swingarm spools, did the airbox flapper mod, and will be replacing the fender and rear turn signals this evening while the garage door repair guy is here replacing the door springs.
I have a Little giant too! Nevermind that shit.. Deja Vu all over again. Better not be!
Well, deja vu for bringing it home, not the crash.
Although, Annalisa & I did a 2-up on it and just about 1.5 miles from my house, the same thing ALMOST happened. Except this time, the person stopped.
Left-hander and the on-coming car was taking a left onto a street coming in at the curve.
I looked back at Annalisa and said "this is exactly what I saw before I went down."
Oh, BTW, I rode everywhere with ALL LIGHTS ON! I will be using the high beams everywhere I ride now. Day or night. I want to be seen.
CONGRATSSSSSSSSS Chuck!!!!
Good to see you back on the two wheels

I put led's on my mirrors with both turn and stop, saw them on another guys bike. Very good in traffic. Not to hard to install yourself if you know some electrical and check yourself. Don't pinch the wire on the way out of a faring like me thought and short the entire bike out![]()

My beams never get turned off. I get flashed every once and a while but hey, if they're annoyed then it's already worked.

I can resist everything but Pete's mom.
I can help you with the flashing blue lights but they are a little pricey.
Headlight modulators are great items as well. Really messes people up.
From someone with sensitive eyes, i think having your highbeams on to make yourself more noticable may work against you. Some people, like me, get blinded for a couple seconds when a really bright light gets shined at me such as highbeams. I hardly ever ride at night due to this but i still notice it during the day. Ever think that people are beeping at you due to the fact that you are blinding them which in return is making you unsafe(they cant see!!)?
A distracted driver is just that, distracted. I dont think having your highbeams on is going to make any difference at all, may be doing the exact oppisite of what you want. I know on my R1 that my regular running lights are plenty bright enough to let people see me. But, that me..
I was gonna say something very similar. I drive at night for work. having your high beams on all the time is a bad idea. If I'm blinded by your lights I might wander into your lane because I can't see where I am. no one should ever see oncoming high beams except right before they are shut off.
