I had to take my tail apart a while ago and it all seemed pretty logical.
DeathMetal, could you take the passenger seat off and post a picture showing how much room is in the trunk now that you put on the aftermarket kit?
Just curious if the trunk has more or less room. I don't really mind the fender but if the aftermarket kit gives you extra trunk space that might convince me to do it.

where did the blinkers go? Lic. Plate light? I really need to do that too..
nice.. sweet man. it looks really good.
I wonder if you can slice a piece of the breaklight cover off and use that as the plate light...
that looks a hell of a lot better! damn that thing was hiedous! good work! glad to see u got it all back together
no problems on inspection then either, ahe?
awesome dude![]()
Looks good. That was my first order of biz when I got my SV also.
what types of tools would I need if I was going to try this myself? also.. one person job or two.. I really want to do it, but i'm afraid of hacking the shit out of the bike...
I ordered some goodies yesterday, starting with a Two Bros Carbon Slip On. Also got some frame sliders and fairing to replace the damaged one and while I was at it bought some Alpinestars Track Pants. Can't for the UPS man.

Yeah, most likely I will be keeping it for another season or two. Got a wedding to pay for, and probably a place to live. May try to pick a used naked SV for my girlfriend over the winter or trade my snowmobile in the spring for another bike. Will see what happens
this year. I think it will sound great with the exhaust done.
I don't think motorcycle inspections check anything , I took my bike to a place and all they did is beep the horn , turn signals , and high beam , not even the exhaust was checked , lol.Originally posted by JCzx12
Nope, they've never even checked.
I got mine inspected at Suzuki of Swansea and just asked for reg and $15. Put the sticker on and that was it.
