So my bar is bent from the bike being tipped over. It's not too bad, but seems to be about 1/2 inch closer to the tank on the left than on the right when turned all the way to each side.
The bitch of it is that I have a track day coming up this Monday. I'd really rather have a strait bar if possible... so if you have some sort of a 7/8 bar lying around that would fit my Z, please let me know and I'll buy it off of you or borrow it if it fits...
Thanks
have a clipon from an 05 gsxr 600 that is straight... you can have it if it fits. may be able to get a hold of abar for a kawi though tonight... call me later on I'm going to PM you #.
Clip-ons won't do, unfortunately... it has to be a bar that gets clamped. A dirt-bike bar would do, even... but I think just about any 7/8 bar could fit. Be it from a bandit, an SV650, a ninja 650R/750S, etc...
1/2 an inch???? bah... ride it as is, foo
With that said, if i had somethin i'd hook ya up, but all i have are extra woodcraft clip-on bars![]()

Heres a condom. I figured since youre acting like a dick, you should dress like one too.
Well, I called up bikeworx. Galen said he'll get a few bars in by Friday... so I'm hoping to stop by there and find one that'll fit nicely.
I really want to murder the cocksucker who tipped my bike.
Torch, metal pipe... heat, bend back... save money, save time![]()

I've gotta a stock ZRX bar I could lend you if ya want. I think the bend is fairly similar to the Z1000. Regards, Jake

I ditto Pedro...
Torch... metal pipe... vise... and bend it back.
I've done that before on my old ZX6R.

Not advised as it'll take the temper out of the bar making it weakerOriginally posted by LuvDog
