Original story had them going down the road and the bikes tossing rocks at cars. Civic probably in more trouble because their actions look retaliatory in that video, but there's way more to the story for sure. Bike life peeps most likely not as innocent as that video makes them look.
I remember a DucDave ride where someone swung into the parking lot loaded for bear like that once. He almost took out a few bikes. Didn't like bikes riding "spirited" in HIS town and decided to confront us.

Rules for revenge, leave no witnesses.....
Looks like racewars are back on the menu too boys
Street takeovers a thing. Different vehicles, same principle. Rules of numbers in the land of the free.
This kid is an overachiever!

From BPD News
At about 2:53 AM, on Saturday, June 25, 2022, an officer assigned to District B-3 (Mattapan), on patrol in his cruiser, was struck by a scooter being driven by an intoxicated 16-year-old male juvenile. The scooter was traveling the wrong way on Helen Street onto Bernard Street (near Franklin Park) when it collided with the cruiser.
The suspect was placed under arrest and charged with; Delinquent to wit; Operating Under the Influence of Alcohol, Delinquent to wit; Driving to Endanger, Delinquent to wit; Operating a Motor Vehicle Without a License. He is expected to be arraigned in Dorchester District Court.
The passenger on the scooter, a 16-year-old juvenile from Jamaica Plain (!), fled the scene on foot while clutching a fanny pack to his chest. Officers recovered a discarded 9mm Beretta APX firearm with an obliterated serial number along his flight path. He will face pending charges in Dorchester Juvenile Court.

Welp. They got naults twice, now they got North Reading. That owner was awesome to my wife. They used a uhaul but only got two bikes? (I noticed all their dirt bikes were chained together in the showroom).
If anyone caught the news, they got two dirt bikes in the van and a cop pulls right in…. But doesn’t stop or catch them….

That guy was a complete dick to me when I was ready to buy a bike. Got back in my car, drove up to Naults in Windham and bought it there instead. Haven't set foot in NRM since.

But do 5mph over on RT 28......

Ugh. North Reading is my hometown. I know the owner and went to highschool and rode dirtbikes with his son a lot. Their parts guy (Shane maybe, he probably has moved on since I went there last) was a former LRRS expert champion and I think Penguin instructor, and was a HUGE help to me when I raced my 450. The shop stood behind me for almost nothing in return and the owner and his family are riders, through and through. If you came in off the street and were buying a new bike or parts, you were paying retail, but it was a good, family owned, local shop.
I shopped around in the past and Naults did nothing special, other than not having state sales tax. I also think Naults is a solid shop. In my opinion, the only real, actual shitty shops were all the ones under the Greater Boston Powersports umbrella. Don't really want to get into that in this thread.
In my experience, cops in NR are not suited to be cops. Not to say they aren't great people, but they're mostly people that took the job in a small, crimeless town because the pay is good and it takes minimal skills to get the job. Most of you have probably heard me gripe about this.

A man of many names...Jay, Gennaro, Gerry, etc.
We had an engineer who got into a “discussion” while trying to vote in North Reading.
A few weeks later, he got a ticket in the mail for having a car with NH plates. It was a company car, so I had to go with him to the hearing.
There was the Magistrate and an LT from NR. I explained that we had an office in Peabody, an office in Manchester, NH, and six company vehicles. So we registered three in NH and three in MA.
The Magistrate looked at the LT and said “Company car.” [NH doesn’t put commercial plates on vehicles under 18,000 lbs, commercial or not].
I then asked, “Is it the usual practice to send tickets in the mail like this? If you looked up the registration you’d see it was registered to the company.”
The LT replied, sheepishly. “No.”
It was just petty payback by a small town LEO.

Wu just appointed Michael Cox as Commissioner. That Michael Cox: the undercover officer beaten up by other officers, who lied to cover it up. The case exposed a lot of the inherent racism not only in communities but BPD itself. Good luck to him!

2 of them apparently recovered last weekend in Lawrence.

I wonder what kind of condition the bikes were found in.

Fatality. Looks like he lost control and landed under a parked car.
