Look at that black mark behind the rear tire. That guy knows what he's doin.
I nearly got me a hard-on from that pic. Sliding kicks the lama's ass.

Um.. no.
Boston --> San Diego
Never said that, he just knows enough to be able to slide that bike at least 15 feet like that, perhaps more.

we should have a caption contest on that one......
That guys about to rock a front flip with a twist and crack his ass open. I'd bet by the ducttape on the headlights that he does not have that under control.
It's all water under the bridge, and we do enter the next round-robin. Am I wrong?
I'm thinking that slide has more to do with the rear brake than the throttle.
Suprised no one has called photoshop yet.![]()
"You never see a motorcycle parked outside of a psychiatrists office"
Doesn't look like his foot is anywhere near the rear brake.

It's not photoshopped. I saw a whole sequence of that on another board. he crashed it.
derek
Can you link it? I wanna see.....Originally posted by Degsy

No doubt...
that pic has highside written all over it... He'd probably be better off standing on the rear brake at that moment... at least maybe he'd lowside. That rear looks like it's about .5 sec from hooking up and sending home-slice ass over teakettle...
In my last ever race, I came out of turn 12 and that pic is pretty much what happened. It seemed like it was sliding for so long that I actually thought I would make it out of it. I had my elbow down for a split second. .....then it hooked up and threw me about 10 feet in the air.
pfff I did that coming out of turn one at hooters wed night!![]()

I do that on my 636 all the time. Usually around turns on rt 9 in VT

yikes, doesn't look like he's got any sliders on his bike either.
Sliders + highside = who cares?Originally posted by bump909

If you high side and the bike flips end over end, sliders are gonna do shit!

As history has shown in my crashes sliders break and bend pretty nicely. I'm giving the woodcrafts a shot this year. They look like a much better design. The standard style were close to dragging on the ground at times (non crash times).Originally posted by HBerry

good point. with that said, i want to see an "after" photo. almost looks like he's going into a lowside, but we know that he probably isn't going to be so lucky.Originally posted by HBerry
