Last night I had my bike parked in front of my sister's apartment, she comes up and says: "Why is your bike parked on the sidewalk?" Turns out some ASSHOLE decided to move me up onto the sidewalk so he could park his car in my space (I was in a little tiny space when I parked, but cars had moved around, leaving just enough space to fit a car in). The thing is, the wheel was locked, so somebody must have lifted up the front end. It was also left crossing the whole sidewalk, so not only was I super likely to get ticketed, but it was a huge pain to get it out, I had to pick up the rear end and pivot it around (damn thing is heavy, I'm only 5'8 165lb, it's not easy to lift!). I was about to bust both of the guys mirrors off, but then I realized that the bike was only gonna move about 5 spaces down the road and the dude might come out, see the damage, and bust up my bike, so I was denied my retribution. I was SOOOO pissed... BTW, this was in allston, so watch out around there.![]()

respect i think its called
You should have filed an insurance claim against the guy and wrote down every little scratch and scuff and mark.
Also, you should have called the police and filed an official report and have the guy fucked by the LEO a few times.

Matt get a bunch of friends next time you see his car pick the rear and put it on top of the sidewalk. Did it once in highschool to a toyota corolla. Bounce the rear and use the shock rebound to your advantage and see how he likes it......![]()

We used to do that back on overnight ski trips... move cars around in the lots at night after drinking.. pick em up and pivot them around so they were all pinned in together....always fun to watch their faces when they came out in the mornings to see their vehicles
LOL - sounds like a plan!Originally posted by rui93

I would spell out "Don't Touch my Bike Asshole" on his hood. (than again that would be obvious who did it....)
Point is... these days, people have no respect for other's properties. I would totally call the insurance company and file a police report to start the paper trail. Who knows if the idiot dropped it or not?

I know Allston. It suppose to be a nice place as far as theft, but you never know. There's always one bad apple I guess.

"fuckit!"
I would remember that car and get it next time I saw it, so they do not associate it with your bike.
When I lived in Brighton back in the late 80's, we rented a parking spot, since you could never get a spot when coming back late at night. Once, a car was in my spot, so called the tow company. They were unable to tow, since it was backed into the parking spot and auto trans was locked in park. Tow truck driver and I had a little fun. While he raised the front end, I went and found 2 cement blocks. Raised it high enough to put them under the front wheels. The asshole didn't get towed, but surely had to call a tow truck the next day. It was a Saab, so too low to drive forward off the blocks without smashing the rocker panels. The stock jack is probably too short to raise it enough to get it off the blocks, since they were under the tires, not the axle.
that's pretty sweet, good revenge man![]()
