I put the plate on my KTM today and spent a good hour or so cutting out a aluminum plate bracket on the band saw. I was happy with how it came out but the plate is hidden by the mudguard on the bike I'm tempted to trim the fat off the mudguard so you can see the plate better but i may just wait and see if i have a problem. I hate to start cutting things when it's clean looking and it'll probably stop some roost from hitting my back and helmet
I think i may have to road ride this thing this Sunday

Yes, there is a light. I drill a small hole in the underside and it let the light out from the tailight

I'd bet money that the cops would put their flasher bar on when they see this, and request you pull over, yes. Weather you get "stopped" or not is up to you and/or your circumstances at the time they choose to put those flashers on. ;-)

That's when tire groving tools come in handy

The bike won't be going anywhere anytime soon, i got a bum stator and it's gonna be a week before a new one comes in

No it doesn't That's the plate off my R1 just to see how it would fit, the plate for that bike hasn't come back yet

WTF Mate? You gotta groove em yourself!? I have seen it done, and it makes me very nervous... the thought of slicing up a tire on purpose... ick!

Actually i'll probably just use them on my YZ up at Loudon and put a set of take offs on it for the street

We'll see about the stator, he says it's bad, i think it's not the rite stator for the flywheel I guess i'll know Friday when the new one comes in

+1 for that statement. I had the plate going straight down on my bike and got nailed inwards when I hit a bump because it hit the tire.
