i did read that sticky at the top about that jim guy and he sounds great but im all set with travelin that amount of distance to get my tires changed. someone on here HAS to know someone local (lynn, peabody, salem area) that does 'em for fairly cheap. i dont wanna goto cycles128 and get KY'd up. i already have the tires, just need someone to change em...
let me know, thanks in advance
No offense man.. but you live like 30 minutes from Manchester.. maybe 45. Suck it up.
I'm going up there from QUINCY in a few weeks.
Boston --> San Diego
How much is your time worth to you? Before going to Jim I paid over 100 bucks off the bike at a place just 15 minutes from my place... the next time around i took two hours out of my day and drove up from BOSTON but saved myself 70 bucks.
choice is yours... $100 or $30.... it's all about how much convenience is worth to ya![]()
i'd give him a ring & make the drive again w/o a second thought

Riverside in Somerville only charges $35 to put on a tire.
You don't need to buy the tires there and they will even mount used tires. I had them mount some of my used race tires on a street bike before.

dunno the exact price but I paid $350 for front and rear tires and to have them put on.... this was done at T & S sportbike in braintree, i'm told that's a pretty good price..... oh and I had dunlops put on
Who told you that was a good price? The guy at the register?Originally posted by neuthunder

If you buy the tires from a dealer they will put them on for you cheaper then if you buy them elsewhere. Some dealers will not put on tires you do not by from them. MTR racing in Woonsocket will not, but if you buy from them it's (or was) $15 off the bike.Originally posted by neuthunder
