Second surprise: No cars on way up!!
It was a B-E-Utiful day!
The hang gliders were there as were a few fellow sportbikers!

It's on the VT/NH border not far from Bellows Falls & Rt. 91.

Damn you got lucky. Last year I ended up there on a ride, but they were doing a car race (hillclimb) so I couldn't go up. I had gone up in 2001 and just barely missed the hang gliders. (Bicycled up that day)

No, I didn't get to watch the car race. I would have had to hike up the mountain in leathers, and it was like 4PM and we were trying to hit Killington and North Adams on the way home.
