You got that right!
The Scott's is the stuff for ANY serious sportbike. I have one on my R1, and it ROCKS just as you have reviewed it. They have been making awesome steering stabilizers for dirt bikes (and chosen by the factories) forever. Now the road racing teams are wising up, and using all of their products too.
This is the single most important mod I have made to my R1. I remember going through RT 232 South in Vermont about 6 weeks ago. That road was one of the worst I've seen in some time. Well, needless to say, the damper was the primary reason I was able to ride the road quickly. With HUGH frost heaves the entire length of the road, the bike was literally leaving contact with the road surface with both wheels at some points. The front end though...never felt quirky - ever.
This is the best damper on the market, and because of it's position, it isn't likely to suffer damage in a crash (many other dampers are destroyed in crashes).

I kept the Scott's that came with the *old* Superhawk. I'm gonna send it back to them for some servicing (replace gaskets, replace fluids, lube and adjust) and have 'em send it back with the mounting hardware for the new Tiller....
Did you grit your teeth and try to look like Clint Fuckin' Eastwood?
Or did you lisp it all hangfisted like a fuckin' flower?
