I live on a dirt road with a posted speed limit of 25 MPH. I also ride an L-twin which some might consider loud.

In the mornings I quietly putt putt down the dirt road at 15 MPH to not upset the sleeping neighbors. This morning as I leave my driveway I notice a marked cruiser coming at me. He starts to slow down so I figure maybe he wants to ask a resident a question so I slow down as well. He stops and I stop beside him about 100' from where I left my driveway prepared to shoot the $hit. He rolls down his window and I lift my face shield. He says in a calm voice, "slow it down." Since I was doing 10 MPH under the speed limit I sort of laugh and ask, "you're yanking my chain, right?" He responds, "No, I have you on RADAR at 46 MPH." I look backward and point at my driveway and tell the officer, "I just came out of that driveway right there." He responds, "maybe there was some interference, have a nice day."

So Dave, according to this young officer's RADAR I can go from 0-46 MPH plus 46-0 MPH in 100' feet on dirt.
