Actually it's TRE. Power commander does fuel/air ratios, the not rev limiter

That's the limit on all bikes everywhere (Europe and US, at least).

It started when a Hayabusa blew the doors off a bunch of cars on the autobahn and it was caught on video. It caused a big uproar in Europe with threats to limit all bikes to no more than 100hp, etc. The manufacturers responded with an unofficial agreement to limit production models to no more than 300 kilometers per hour (about 186mph).

my sigma is calibrated dead nuts on, someone at my dealership got it to read and save that as a tops speed as a practical joke, I can only speculate how they did it
