Saw this on another forum I'm on. I figured those of you preparing for spring and needing new rubber could take advantage of it.

The Q2's are on sale for $196 shipped for a set of 120/70 and 180/55 tires.
Tucker Rocky is pushing Dunlop hard!
Putting his hands in the air, like he just doesn't care.
Check out my eBay store!

I'm so torn between these and the pilot road 2ct...
I stopped a bike dealer on the way home from work today and felt up some 2CT Pures, they were so dreamy![]()
Yamaha
Man...I was about to buy some supercorsas...now this got me thinking
If you guys can wait a few weeks we're going to have a similar deal right here at Seacoast - and we can install them! Also Roadsmarts, Michelin Pilot Pures and RD3's!
When has a minor detail such as that prevented me from doing something stupid?
I seee.... so on the streets the choice would be the PP 2CT? $210 a set from JW.

Dunlops are maybe $15 cheaper but you're saying they are nice and gummy and will wear quickly?
We have Dunlop Q2's and Roadsmart's on sale for $299 installed and we have Michelin Pilot Pure's and Road 3's on sale for $379 installed!
And the BT016?
Thanks.
PS: Leaning toward the Q2's see you next Wed/TH. 180-55 120-70 Install is a snap (SSSA)

I just posted my Bridgestone BT003RS's for sale, in case anybody here is looking for an awesome set of DOT approved race tires:

Much obliged my brother.
Looking forward to next week with those new meats on there, she will be finally sorted for the springtime. Got the TuneECU cable yesterday, although since I really tightened my exhaust things are much much better in that burble and response department referenced earlier. These damn triples, I drank the poison, can't wait to get me a 1050 Tiger, totally my style of bike.

Mad props to the Q2:

http://www.motorcycle-usa.com/545/82...omparison.aspxChanging the chassis geometry the least,
the Dunlop Sportmax Q2 maintains its line
through corners, turned most predictably,
handled bumps well, and gave good feedback
in all situations. Additionally, the Q2s showed
the least wear at the end of the day. The Q2
was a little faster than its closest competitor, an
undeniably important statistic for performance
tires, but most importantly it was the tire that
gave the testers the most confi dence. By both
subjective and objective standards, the Dunlop
Sportmax Q2 is our clear winner.
A much more comprehensive test with two different performance sets. Dunlop smoked the regular 2CT I'll pay the mileage tax for that.
Just like the other big name brand tires in this test the Q2s deliver a very high-level of performance for a street tire. But next to how rigid they feel the thing that really sets them apart from the competition is the price. Simply put the Dunlops are an unbelievable value for the money making them the tire we’d purchase when we need a new set of tires for our sportbike..........RIDER NOTES:
“Insane amounts of traction. Heat-up time is also astounding. The front tire feels like it has a very triangular profile. It turns in aggressively but is predicable with perfect stability. Both tires feel firm and do not move around at all yet they deliver good feel. Rear tire has insane traction everywhere. Feel wasn’t as good as the Power One or Pirelli and the carcass felt stiffer. Grip was consistent and never tapered. It actually felt like I could race on these tires.”
