best place to get a dyno tune?

    Hey guys...

I need to get my CBR tuned...badly..

I have a full akropovic titanium race exhaust, BMC race filters, and a PC-III.

I've heard good things about Seacoast cycles in NH...

Can you guys list some other places for me? Thanks!

RJ's in NH (nashua i think). they were running specials for $100. gave out coupons at lowell bike night, and someone on NESR put up a thread saying they were offering that price for a special if you mentioned their name.

    OCRacing in Worcester

the guy Adam has put his time in on that Dyno Jet machine which will result in you getting a custom map right for your application. Not sure of '09 pricing though

Disclaimer: I don't have PERSONAL experience with Rob's dyno. But I do have a friend who had a nightmare experience. I'd go to someplace with a solid rep for sure. +1 for Seacoast.

I had RJ's do mine at a trackday. He took his time to get it right it seemed. Made great numbers and smooth power arc. My bike is so stinking fast, I have a hard time telling the difference in power. He did clean up some slop in the low end that my exhaust set up and pcIII tune was doing which is what I wanted, an engine running at proper air fuel ratio.

Yep I was there and he spent at least an hour on your bike, well worth the $100 imo.

Jeff did a great job on my bike but if RJ's does it for $100 and does it well, it's worth saving $100 off Jeff's price.

Just to give an alternative view. I took my 05 600RR to Seacoast and found it a waste of time and money. I tweaked my own map better. And I'm no expert.
Dude, I can email you a map that I have refined that you can try if you want. I have an Akra slip on though. But the 05 and 06 are indentical otherwise.
PM me if ya wanna try it.

Although I've not had my bike Dyno'd at RJ's (not sure I can with a carb bike), they are great at RJ's. Very knowledgable, friendly, and never make you feel rushed...even when waiting for an answer to a stupid question.

You CAN Dyno a carbed bike. It's all jets and adjustments not a powercommander. Again it's another great idea. Roger dyno's those as well.
