I've been checking these out and was wondering if anyone has ever used them.

Wirelessly posted (HTC EVO "DROID" )
I wouldn't. The aluminum they tend to use is sub par in my opinion. It's fine for things like mirrors and maybe levers, but I wouldn't trust a clip on.
When I start my KTM in the morning, rules are broken. Its inevitable...

The second link at least states the type of aluminum used (assuming it can be trusted). But I especially agree about the first one - they make no mention of the grade of aluminum.
you think it's more of an issue than brake levers? it would seem like way less crucial than brake levers
i dont feel that a lever deal with anywhere near the same force as a clipon. i slightly overtightened a mirror and the piece broke...rather easily. i just foresee the possiblity of slightly overtightening a clipon and having it (unknowingly) fracture resulting is possible disaster. just my take.
