Ecosse has been around for a while. Nice bikes, but wicked expensive. Think of them as a Confederate competitor.

The Heretic. Also comes in a Ti version for an even stupider price tag. Pretty and supposedly very capable bike but for the price I'll take a desmo, and an rsv4, and an sv to tool around on. 74k for a base model is simply outrageous when you remember that its nothing more than a glorified harley motor lumbering along at a 4k redline. A bike with looks like that should have some kind of ungodly wail as it runs down the road. The kind of noise that makes mothers protectively shield their children, old men shake their fists in outrage, and people like us weep at the shear beauty of the sound.

That is all a bold claim with nothing to back it up. Give me 3.6 million dollars and I will gladly give you a $100,000 bike, a watch, some gear and send you to a couple of race schools.

First time I saw a Hellcat I was at that little Ducati dealer in NYC that used to be down on the West Side Hwy just north on Houston. This uber-trendy douchebag guy and his trophy wife kept calling it a "Confeder-ah-tey"

I bet the guy calls Target "Tar-jay" too. What a tool.

I would have had a lot of fun correcting him. "Uh, buddy, that's Confederate... like the people who would have loved lynching your metrosexual ass..."
