@ $550 it seems worthy of a look.
Yeah, I looked it up cautiously expecting to see $750/800.

i was referring to my two sets of older '13 TLD gear, GP and SE, which can still be found on sale here and there. the latest versions have been revised, i prefer the older fit, waist band/buckle system, etc. those two sets get washed in a machine after every ride, still look/work great other than small tears from thorns and slight wear from my neck brace. the gloves haven't lasted as long. grippy fingers go first.
other than that stuff, my usuals are TLD Air and SE3 lids (used to sumo in these as well), Leatt neck brace/kneeguards/CP, Gaerne SG-12 boots, USWE hydro pack, TLD protective shorts, UnderArmor heat gear tank, Thor thin coolmax socks.
i've tried all sorts of gear over the years and the stuff above works and fits the best for me. elbow guards are difficult, i hate them all.

How does Alias MX gear compare quality-wise to the bigger players -- Fox, TLD et. al.?
I'm not thrilled with the durability of my Alias stuff. Some of it is my fault (exhaust burning through pant legs) but the shirts seem to rip easily, and so do the gloves.
