I snagged a Corbin seat with only 5000 miles on it for my VFR last week, at a BIG discount over a new one...
It just arrived this afternoon. I go to walk out the door to go home and swap it on the bike. (6 miles round trip... hard to pass up)
Right as I open the door of the office the sky cracks and the heavens pour down upon me.
150 yards across the parking lot to my bike, with the raingear in the saddlebag... guess I get to wait! My work clothes would be soaked by the time I got out there.

good for youthats the next thing i'm buying for my vfr. i just installed remus carbin slipons. they look good, sound great.
Woohoo... how do you like those Slip-ons?
I want to hear them ASAP.
I have never heard a 6th Gen VFR with nice pipes... the older VFRs sound fantastic with a good pipe.
Definitely want to hear yours.

ya now it has a nice rumble to it. not to loud. you would not believe how much the stock cans weight. i'm going to use them as dumbells. i think i'll go fire it up.![]()
It's not that I hate the stock VTEC seat
But i would love to upgrade Mine
The Corbin or the Sargeant, which ever
But $300 bills....OUCH
I have been scoping Ebay for a while.....nothing used.
And let's not talk about $800 plus for slip-ons.
I can't decide which i would do first, if i had extra C-notes floating around.

I can't wait to hear and see the new pipes. You must be thrilled to finally have the stock cans off.Originally posted by blackvfr

there just to many good lines.
If you're on the fence between the Corbin or the pipes get the Corbin first..
I got mine for $250 off Sport-touring.net... just keep your eyes open.
The Corbin seat is WAY comfier than stock. It's great.. better for riding really fast too as your leathers don't stick to it like the stock seat. I rode the 75 miles up to the track last night, about 100 on the track today, and then another 100 on the way home.. my butt feels like I didn't even ride at all. It feels fantastic on the highway, etc..
BTW - I would still say get a PCIII & O2 Eliminators before getting pipes too. The O2 eliminators are only $30 so they are a no brainer. The pipes won't help you ride any smoother.
Ben
I have read numerous posts on the o2 elims
They are a fix for what may ail your bike.
In my case,.... if it ain't broke, don't fix it
Seriously, i have no complaints about stumble or hesitation
If so, i would have gotten the o2 elims already.
The seat could be better, so the corbin/sargeant would be nice
The exhaust is to quiet and to heavy, so there's that problem
I love the look of the stock exhaust, but hate the looks of the stock seat. Either way, I am just pipe dreamin right now any way
Although christmas is coming
