    Angry 300 miles

    and I got a FN nail in my rear tire...FUCK!!!!

    So I know everyone is gonna say don't do it, but I'm thinking of green slime for it... I read the package(i also rep for the company) and it has specs on how much to use for highspeed tires.

    1st I will not be riding at my usaul pace.

    2nd this is just a temp fix so I can commute a bit this year.

    3rd I will replace the tire when I get a chance and cash to.

    2 plugs and a can of green slime for the life of the tire on my last rear pilot sport, and I did not ride it conservativly at all. Nothing to worry about.

    Just check it every time you get on it, and every time you stop and get off when you do ride.

    My friend had a plug fail. It was fine, and then we took a break... I was behind him and the tire just didn't look right at all.

    Regardless of it is safe or not, the problem with the slime is it makes a mess out of the inside of the wheel. The best way is to patch it from the inside. That does suck though.

    cleaning the slime wasn't too bad either. It took me a couple minutes with a sponge and some soapy water. The rim needed to be washed anyways, and the rim needed some soap to help slide the new tire on.

    The hole is plugable, just thought that wouldn't be the best, then again the hole is off to the left of center so it won't take the brunt of riding
