I just bought a used akrapovic evo full exhaust system for my '01 gsxr 600 and I noticed it only came with 8 exhaust springs. By my count I need at least 12. Anybody know if I can buy replacement springs? I already contacted Akrapovic but no response as of yet. Also some springs are longer than the others. Anyone have experience installing one of these and know which springs are supposed to go where?

i would assume that the longer ones connect the muffler to the mid pipe.
also try lockhart phillips... they sell that brand, maybe they can help you

You can buy springs at most dealerships, not Akro springs but they'll work just as well.
I got some at Plaistow Power Sports when i bought a system last year, thye had several in stock.

When you buy a full Akra system, all the springs are the same and have the rubber coating on them. That's one of the nice things about Akrapovic systems, i'm guessing the previous owner lost some springs and replaced them with some other brand.

Cool. That's good news. Maybe I will just get all new springs depending on how much they cost since the silicone coating on some of these springs is all melted...or maybe it's rubber. I thought silicone could handle crazy high temps.![]()
just dropped $35 for 6 new springs at the dealer..but it had to be done. Now to see if I can get some money back from the clown who sold me a system without all the springs![]()
