    Exhaust Slider

I know at the track this week a bunch of you were asking me about this...

it's an exhaust slider. Saves your ~$500 can. I've seen photos of them being crash tested and they work like a charm.

It's essentially a very large stainless hose clamp and some very rigid, very durable, and heat-resistant tubing. The guy who made them has gone through several iterations.

I've seen some wiseasses who tried to make their own and it failed miserably (didn't slide, melted, etc).

It's a small price to save a can...

Wish I had one of those before I wrecked two weeks ago... I'm gonna try to cut my can down and make it a shorty but in the mean time I got a replacement.
