Fallen racer fund?

At the last LRRS weekend Erin

pictured here



from what I gather was rear ended by a faster rider lapping her and went off into a highside in Turn 1. I guess the bike got stuck on her leg and she was in plenty of plain.

I know a lot of people crash during racers and its impossible to do this for everyone, but for some reason everytime I hear about this, I'm thinking "this really sucks, I feel bad".

I'm wondering if anyone would like to set up a paypal account, or just use theirs (or I can use mine) and make a small collection with simple donations?

I don't even know this girl (never met her) but I'm sure it would make her day to find out other site members care when fellow racers/riders go down in such unforutunete ways.

are you trying to fund her trip to Foxwoods? I think that's what the rest of her Racing budget is going towards

Seriously though, that's a very nice gesture... I'll give her 5 bucks, a pat on the back &a slap on the ass if i see her this weekend

EDIT: i'd get her a bottle of everclear & some vics, but i have a feeling she'll have plenty of that in the coming weeks

This is a really nice gesture!
The fact you mentioned this will mean alot to her in itself.

She is doing quite well though.
Her bike actually sustained minimal damage (because it was on top of her the whole time)
All her riding gear did get pretty shredded, but thats why you wear it and its worth buying good gear.

...Maybe is she raises enough money, she can pay her live in nurse.......cause man I'm getting broke

Hey Green Hornet, thanks for the gesture, but I have great insurance from work, and some awesome help too, and there are plenty of people out there that would need it more than me.
