Kills me how it's a "lifestyle." Guess once you get the bike, then spend a few hundred dollars on H-D branded t-shirts, lighters, wallets, bandanas, you're in the club.

If you had to choose between less donuts or more horsepower and torque to overcome the donut's side effects, which would you choose?
Switching to performance bikes makes sense. Harley have crappy brakes, wobbles, crappy suspension, and limiting cornering (lean angle of about 33 degrees max). I find my sportster fun to ride, but "fun to ride" is not a basis for chosing a police motorcyle.
