What do you guys think about the fieldsheer revo 1 pc track suit for a track suit for loudon?
http://www.fieldsheer.com/web2006/PR...REVOSPORT1.htm
fieldsheer makes some good stuff at low cost! I've had a 2-piece fieldsheer suit for about 5 years now with multiple slides on the asphalt + it is still holding up!
Brockton cycles stocks a lot of Fieldsheer leathers + it is usually on clearance sale this time of year! It has all the leather + padding of expensive bigger name suits but the cost is low!!
I also had a pair of fieldsheer gloves which lasted all last season + I ALWAYS drag my fingers on the pavement entering the pits for good luck?
Yea thats what Im looking for something that is quality but not gonna cost 1500+ like a vanson or a dainese would.
Question for you though. the stichting double, triple, quadruple?
Ever had to have it repaired? Removable knee pucks?
honestly, I don't know what the stitching is but i've never had to have mine repaired!
+ yes the pucks are removeable (velcro)
i have a fieldsheer 1 pc suit now- crashed twice on the track in it and no tears or holes. Still in good condition other than looking like it's slid across the track.
Brokton said they lost their Fieldsheer deal

Hi Folks.
I was just there at Brockton Cycle, before x-mas. My sweety bought me some Gaerne Shockwave boots for trackdays. They still have some Fieldsheer suits hanging on the back wall of the street clothing dept. The tags were 499.95 I think. Might be worth a look if you aren't too far away from there. I justified the trip by taking my sweety to the new Ikea store, which isn't far from there. Happy shopping!
The price tag of $499 can be negotiated down at Brockton. That was the tag on my suit 2 yrs ago and I walked out paying $350! Good suits for the $$.
That definitely sounds like its a good deal. I would seriously think about going down and getting one but over the next 4-6 months I plan on losing about 20-30 lbs so the size I get now wouldnt fit me by the time Im done.
Go on down anyways, and try on some suits. Get an idea where some tight/loose spots might be. Since those suits are off the rack and not custom tailored, you could get an idea on sizing to your height, etc. 20 to 30 pound is nice to lose, but might not be as much of a big deal for fitment. Besides, another excuse to go to a bike shop. If it fits a wee bit too snug now, might be just right later.
