The Zumo series isn't really worth the money. The Oregon does all the autorouting stuff, plus it has way more track recording/following features than the Zumo and a way more flexible interface with more options for the information it displays. Plus it's more rugged, and it can be used for lots of stuff besides on the bike/in the car. And it costs a fraction of the price.

wayyyyy too much money. I wouldnt pay half of that.
20% off with the AMA discount = 800$, what a STEAL!
I'll be interested to see if they make the GXM-40 backward compatible to the Zumo 660 now or not. If they don't, garmin themselves should actually be kicked in the junk.
Can you get just the blow job dispenser?

The price really isn't that bad since it comes with both motorcycle and car mounts, and the GXM40, a ~$260 part. If you want XM on the 550 or 600, you need to buy the GXM30 seperatly at ~$250. Looks like a pretty nice unit.
Yep. The weather graphic is a must-have if it zooms to local and is
animated. The NavTec traffic reports are awesome: you can get them
from the internet on your computer but that won't work for you in
realtime unless you have mobile internet (and I don't mean cell phone).
Different strokes. The NavTec database is the best. I would not buy
a GPS that does not use it.
