there was a woman in VT a couple years ago riding a GSXR-750. got t-boned by a turkey and it knocked her down a 50 foot embankment. f-d her up good, broken hip, shoulder and ribs i think.

yup not much farther down the road from where I kissed mine and last time I knew she still hadn't got back on a bike.

they haven't avoided natural selection. they're only here because we purposely breed them.

aren't the domesticated ones so damn stupid that if it rains, they need to be brought indoors, lest they'll drown from looking up at the rain with their mouth open? don't remember where I heard that one....but yeah, fuck those things, messed up my GTO years ago on a flock (gaggle?) that was mosy-ing across the road....clipped 3 of em.

No word of a lie... I was cruising along Rte 156 on the Nottingham/Raymond line with SubtleRage at about 60mph and out waddled a damned wild turkey.... Instead of reacting quickly I thoght of this thread LOL.. then Immediately prepared to throw out my leg, but smart as he was, he waddled back into the forest.

I didnt have the pleasure of stomping on his head like you did.. but sure as hell gave me a startle!!
