I ordered a bike 3 months ago from a dealer in Rhode Island. They told me the deposit was non-refundable after 5 days. They still haven't come through with the bike.. I've been calling around and other dealers have bikes that I could buy. I'm just wondering what's the likelihood of getting my deposit back? A couple people around here think it would be easy to get it back, but I don't want to risk pissing off the dealer and losing the money, but I want a bike now! It's spring! arg.. Anyway.. thx in advance for any input..

Heres a condom. I figured since youre acting like a dick, you should dress like one too.
As long as you didn't sign all the paper work it should be no prob to get your money back. And since the bike may not even exist yet you prob didn't do all the paper work.![]()

Dealer got the paperwork.. Got the bike home..
Just put 120 miles on the bike and I'm loving every second of it. Trying to go easy for the first few hundred miles is really taking some self control though.
Taking me a little bit to get used to the weight forward/clip on arrangement but I'm sure once I got some miles under my belt I'll build up more of a tolerance.
Thanks for the feedback..

Life is a challenge. You can take the risk and experience it, or sit back and watch it go by. I choose to experience it. (W.L.Heath)
Fear is the incubated subjective perception of the inevitable.
PICS are floating around in my buddy's digital camera, and in my 35mm.Both have yet to be seen tho.
I should have them up soon hopefully. The black is definatlely nice. Damn hard to keep clean though.
You post any riding impressions of the RR beyond your initial impressions?

That is quite the looker!!
I didn't realize it came in black. I'd only seen red/black and yellow.
I am still amazed by that shift linkage.
That's a great parking place you've got there. 40 year limit? No fear of getting towed!

Thanks guys..
Been working towards learning how to ride it nearer to its limits and on getting rid of the chix strips. But its tough on the street and I need to find somewhere I can try on some leather pants before I can think about getting to a track.. Not to mention the fear of safety wiring it!

No safety wire required! Just the handymans helper! Duct Tape!!!

Yup. Really nice lookin ride dude. I finally saw the yella in person and it ain't what the pictures say it is. So, It was a choice between the red/black or the black. I couldn't wait any longer. I had to have a bike. Sides, I already had red leathers for the F4i I had last year.
Good luck with the bike. Maybe we could hook up for a ride sometime.
