After 5 yrs and countless setbacks, I finally got my 81 GS 650 finished. What started out as a $200 project has turned into what i think is a kinda cool looking, one of a kind bike. After one fire, three motors and a complete tear down of the frame i can actually ride it now. New suspension front and rear, all new bearings, brakes top too bottom and paint it's finally done! I put WAAAAAY more than it's ever gonna be worth into it, but that's how most projects go right?

Congrats! She looks great!
Saved another one from the scrap man, good deal!!!
Nice job, seat unit looks really good. As far as the costs go, its not what you put into it, its what you get out of it. At least that's what I tell myself lol.
