Ride today w/ pics

Took a ride with today with whynot. Out to Barre, up to Keene and then back down 123/124 to MM for a meetup. Great day to ride. A couple o' pics for validity.

Curious how the Street Triple works out, comfort-wise, on a longer ride like this.

I am picking up a Street Triple next week, hopefully, to replace my now-sold CBR600RR (way too uncomfortable for me).

Comfort on the Street Triple depends, like most bikes, on how it fits you to start with and how you set it up. I found the 170 miles just fine, despite some springtime bumpy two-lane highway. Wasn't chilly, neither, heated gear not needed Thursday. There's good info on the 675 forum about how to set it up, how to spend your money.

Swapping in an aftermarket seat helps too.

It's actually Jet Black. They introduced Phantom as an "R" color first. I can't tell the difference. We will have to put our bikes side by side to see what the difference is. Those Rizomas are going to looks sweet.

Yah I have a new droid with 2.2 update whatever they call it Froyo??? .... And even though it is there it is a bit of PITA to change the WB maybe because most of us are all so used to regular cameras. Still amazing what these phones can do these days. Pic looks cool regardless.
