Broken right clavicle (shoulder) and a few broken vertabrae. She's goin into surgery at Umass Worcester this afternoon to re-align 6 disks in her back. They are gunna toss some titanium in there too.

Headed off to see her right now. If anyone sees a old black CB750F buzzin along the mass pike this afternoon, wave!

I'll keep you guys informed as to how she does. Her bike ('00 EX500) isn't that bad of shape cosmetically. I went up to VT to pick it up yesterday. Seems like the engine might be toast since it layed on the ground revvin to all hell until the bowls emptied. I tried to start it but it sounded and smoked like a piston got fried from lack of oil. No insurance, but still doesn't matter too much. At least she's gunna make it out alright.


Just wanted to take this oppurtunity to give a plug to the Caravan B&B. Thats where they were stayin, and John has been more than helpful during all of this. Nice place too, and bike friendly.

I whish her a speedy reccovery and hope she gets to feeling better soon. Also tell her not to let the Docs. discourage her, a couple years back my brother blew his leg and knee apart to the point that the docs. told him that "he wouldn't walk agian" and within 6 months & a big box of Titanum parts latter he is walking and even back to riding.

man sorry to hear about your mom, hope she heals up quick. I didn't know that the 500R is out for the count. That thing was fun as hell to ride. Ehhh tell your mom not to worry about the bike, reason enough for an upgrade check your pm
