    theres definitely a fine art to launching a bike, if you disagree... go to New England Dragway for a night and watch the bikes race. The guys who cant launch are extremely obvious since they launch to a wheelie, scare themselves, grab brakes, and arent able to use their junk that night. Or they bog down a ton off the line and just blow the run.

    I remember some of my first runs at the track before I learned how to launch up there, bogged a bunch, then decided to solve that problem and tried dumping the clutch at 5k and getting on it... bike kicked sideways as I spun it all the way through first gear for fear of letting off of it. Finally got traction as I grabbed second. Mine was the only J shaped rubber patch off the line.

    Personally I think everyone that races should hit up NED once and try to learn how to launch, ive seen some really bad ones :p btw whats wrong with stoplight heroes?
