    FMF quiet core

Anyone have any experience with these. Looking to get one for my KTM 525exc, it has a Titanium4 system on it. Its just to loud, just waiting to get pulled over for it. From what I have seen they only cost around 30 bucks, so I may just give it a shot.

I have one for my Raptor but it has a HMF pipe, same idea though. Just unbolt the endcap, slide the quiet core in and bolt the end cap back on. Make sure when you order one (you're best bet is to see Pete T at Razee's) that it is compatable with the sparky or the new one has a built in sparky
    It is loud!

It's a popular exhaust with the DR guys from what I've read. The only downside I've seen is that the packing it comes with goes pretty quickly. With that being said, it's easy to repack. It's also light as hell compared to most OEM mufflers.

I rode a DRZ with one and I didn't think it was that loud, and that was with the worn stock packing.

Good point on the packing If you repack it, don't use the crap Moose stuff or regular insulation. There's a very high density pipe insulation that works the best at cutting down the sound, and lasts a long time. I saved a bunch of scrap peices from a powerplant job I was on and used them on the 04 R1 I had. I think I still have a few samples kicking around, I just have no idea where to get it?

I think this bike is louder than my 04 R1 with a full system.....something must be done. It was funny to watch the passengers in the cars next to you jump from the sudden noise
