I'm sure for every one of those occurrences, there are 100 tickets issued.
well if thats the case than in the past 2 months 200 people have gotten tickets...
Handy?

I can resist everything but Pete's mom.
ok so 1 for 50 haha
I should probably keep my mouth shut, but I can't remember the last time I actually got a ticket. I've been pulled over a handful of times (truck, wife's CTS, bike) and've walked away with nothing each & every time. Must be my charming personality...![]()
Did you grit your teeth and try to look like Clint Fuckin' Eastwood?
Or did you lisp it all hangfisted like a fuckin' flower?
Yea, there is some good ones out there for sure....but what i do is pull over and Far off the road as Poss....and when they ask why??? say its for his saftey and mine....then crack a few jokes and shake the hand and your all set off with a verbal warning...."try and keep it under a 100 next time"
This has worked a TON for me......4-5 times in the last 2-3yrs

I agree with Jay here, been pulled over a bunch of times and was in the wrong each time. No tickets yet, all warnings(knock on wood).
So, uh, did you swallow or was it just a cheek shot? Was stopped last night on the way home from bike night by a statie...

I've had that happen as well, twice at +100 on the 650R. I've also had a cop pretty much threaten to beat the living shit out of me for going the wrong way on a one way street right in front of him, I just didn't see the goddamn sign because of all the construction, I was literally barely going fast enough to keep the bike upright and looking straight at him. I used to work for LE so I take them as they come. And the worst are typically in NH, starting from the top on down, watch the former NH AG and her crew go after me last weekend:

I had a Statie pull me over for passing on one part of 116 where I wasn't supposed to. He let me go with a verbal warning because I was wearing "full leathers" (helmets, jacket, gloves, jeans). Asked me a few bike questions and then told me to keep it down in town but have fun in the twisties.
Friends don't let friends wave to Can Ams
I remember that. that was the cop who was hunting down the kid for years and years, making his life hell and the kid shot him, then a passer-by shot the kid with the cop's gun, right?
whaaat? that sounds crazy!
Honestly, police are no different than you or me. I've been let go before for splitting lanes and just told to cool it, Ive received verbal warnings, and there have been times when I clearly felt targeted and harrassed.
You just take em as they come. I am always very polite and hope for the best. I think giving an officer the respect he/she is due goes a long way.
Yes brother, yes, I have been investigating the shit out of this case, and it will all come out in the wash, be it through the movie or through the lawsuit filed by the family.
Sorry to hijack but here watch this video and you'll get it all, mostly. The cop was complete dick to so many people, knife to a woman's privates, etc.

you didn't get a ticket because you were doing nothing wrong. my speedo said we were doing 50ish (reads a little high) and you were behind me. I think what was going on was that he just wanted to make sure everyone was staying safe.
for the record i did not stop. the officer had two cars pulled over and he was outside his vehicle waving his flash light back and fourth at me and R1. i thought this was an accident and he was waving people into the other lane. R1 thought he was pulling people over (correctly). i understand what the officer was trying to do but the way he was pulling people over was extremely confusing (not to mention dangerous).
anyways, i am glad it was nothing. everyone needs to take this officers warning to heart because that road is dangerous as hell...
exactly, and as i was coming up next to you around the corner i read 60 on my speed and was working on passing you then seen the blues and hit the brakes....
Had i not heard him yell "Pull the fuck over!" i would have thought the same, but pulled over and exactly that... all he asked was if i was in a hurry, i chuckled and said no hurry, he said just having fun, i said yup, he told me about the incident, to which i knew all about seeing as how i grew up on this road (literally) talked a minute about bikes, mentioned he was just trying to make sure that everyone was aware the road was dangerous, said nice bike, i laughed and said well mine is better, blah blah blah, he said wait you do have a license to ride this right? I laughed again and said do you think i would have stopped if i didnt? he laughed, just be safe.... then the tow truck pulled up, he said dont worry its not for you, I said i didnt think it was, shook his hand thanked him for doing his job and went on my way....
should i write this up in minute format for the dumb imparied? I know its difficult to translate stupid to english sometimes...
btw chris he did mention thanks for pulling over, unlike your buddy there,
I said i dont know who the fuck that guy was but he was slowing me down....
bahahahahahaha
