second time in a week for bike crashes in my town
the first on, a week ago, not much reported except that "speed may be involved" story I hear form a neighbor is that 15minutes before the helecopters showed, a bike went by like a bat outta hell with a cop car chasin it
today I know nothing except a motorcyle was involved and they are detouring traffic from route 11 onto my road then on to a dirt road about 5 miles extra when there is a shorter smoother possible detour

FARMINGTON — A man airlifted after crashing his motorcycle on Elm Street Saturday evening was listed in critical condition Sunday at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center.
David Dupont, 48, who police believe to be from Nashua, was taken by a DHART medical helicopter to the Lebanon facility after Farmington police and fire officials were called to the scene of a single-vehicle accident on Elm Street around 5:15 p.m.
According to Sgt. Jay Drury, responding units determined Dupont's injuries were life threatening on arrival. Drury said his department believes Dupont veered off the road, noting investigators are looking into speed as a possible factor.
Sunday night Drury said he could not comment any further on the case.

FARMINGTON—A Farmington man was rushed to Maine Medical Center on Friday afternoon after his motorcycle collided head-on with a car.
David Currier, 42, was traveling southbound on the Farmington side of Ten Rod Road at 4:36 p.m. when the motorcycle he was riding struck the Audi of Robert Mueller, 69, of Alton.
Sgt. Scott Ferguson of the Farmington Police Department said that Currier was in the wrong lane at the time of the collision. He also said that speed was a factor in the accident.
Currier was rushed to Maine Medical aboard a DHART helicopter. He was not wearing a helmet at the time of the collision.
According WMUR Currier was in serious but stable condition when he was transported.
Mueller was uninjured, as was a pet dog that was in the car at the time of the accident.
Farmington Police as well as Farmington Fire and Rescue responded to the accident. Strafford County Regional Technical Accidental Reconstruction Team arrived on the scene at about 6 p.m. to reconstruct and investigate the incident.
As of Friday night, Maine Medical was unable to provide an update on Currier's condition.
