Anyone on here selling these boots? Looks like they've been worn more than "4 times".![]()

Maybe a ride to him is cross-country? Dunno...but those are motocross boots anyways. Not that you can't use them on your bike, but there must be some difference...
*edit - from a post on cycleforums:
"I have tried to ride my Hawk in my MX boots.
It works, but like Joel suggested, it's akward and uncomfortable. MX boot, if you're not familiar, offer virtually NO ankel articulation. I found it a particular problem modulating the rear brake. On the dirt bike it's OK to lock up the rear brake unexpectedly, not so much on the street bike.
I think that they offer superior impact and crush protection than a roadrace boot, but suffer for abrasion protection (most RR boots have special plastic/CF/Ceramic silders in high-wear areas). Another consern I had was the sharp edges of MX boots. It seems to me that they would have a greater chance of digging in an doing nasty things to your legs. In a high-speed getoff, they also carry more momentum if you start to tumble.
Stick with high-quality RR boots."
wow, i'm a retard.. didn't even realize those were mx boots.
thanks for pointing that out nicely.
it's obviously way too early in the morning for me.![]()
My MX boots looked a lot worse than that after my 1st ride, let alone 4 rides![]()
