so let see what we all wear and who likes what. post up what you have and how you like it.

and yes i searched for this and only found one thread that was sort of like it and it was last posted on about 2 years ago so dont send out the repost police

hears what i got

normal riding stuff
arai quantum 2-love it
agvsport tour leather jacket-good hot weather riding, good fit since break in
alpinestars sp-2 gloves-large is a perfect fit for my small hands
only wearing jeens now but need to upgrade
boots are just a normal cobat style boot

cold weather
cortex gx sport jacket-awsome cold weather freind
gerbins heated gloves

alpinestars (snow?) pants-great in the cold but no abrasion or crash protection

spare stuff
hjc cl-14-full face but thats about it
icon alliance-good cooling but dont feel good after an hour
frank thomas 2 peice tip together leathers-not ce certified and to gay looking for the street

crashed
shoei rf-900-loved it
alpinestars dyno textile jacket-no vents but it worked ok
alpinestars s-mx 5 gloves-great warm weather riding or short trips held up great and still use um
chippewah work boots-work great and survived a 50-60 mph lowside
jeans-hey my legs were ok

so thats it for me anyone else

Vanson Supermoto Jacket (hot weather)
First Gear Mesh w/liners (rain/cold/hot putting around riding)

Rev-it and Sidi socks. Believe it or not, the Rev-it sock are amazing. They reduce fatigue and are much more comfortable than regular socks. I was skeptical but I'm glad I got them.

Sidi B-One boots or Timberland Pros (on the verrrrrrry rare occasion)

My gloves have been great but it's time for some new ones. I'll be getting some Held Phantoms over the winter. I've decided that some better protection is in order for my legs so I'll be getting some Vanson Supermoto pants custom fitted over the winter as well.

Hey Union: where did you get those pants? I can't fit in anything off the shelf either.

helmet - HJC CL14Y (looking to upgrade to an Arai)
jacket - Power Trip She Devil (white) textile or Power Trip black mesh (forget the style name)
gloves - Olypmic with Kevlar-enforced knuckles (looking to upgrade)
pants - Joe Rocket Ballistic Textile overpants
boots - hiking boots, I have been looking to upgrade since the start but still haven't found any boots that fit my tiny girlie ankles

Helmet - HJC AC-12 - Not bad fit, decent fog prevention
Jacket - Fieldsheer Textile Track Jacket - decent protection for the $$$.
Gloves - Joe Rocket Honday full (GPX-2 with Honda logos) - great fit, comfortable
Pants - usually jeans, but will be getting some form of riding pants in the off-season.
Boots - Icon Field Armor - fit is good, but the toe is too high, making upshifting difficult.

Jackets: Dainese Belfast (textile. Eh, it's OK... I like some aspects don't like others), Cortech Coaster(leather, mostly casual use), Joe Rocket Super Ego (leather/mesh good for reaallllly hot days)
Pants: Vanson Tech Perf (love them, but I'm not sure they're even broken in yet)
Boots: Sidi Vertebra (love em)
Gloves: Held Akira (love em)
Dainese back protector, other assorted junk

If I'm just commuting I wear everything but the Vanson pants. If I'm out specifically for a ride I wear everything every time.

Usually the first thing I put on before a motorcycle ride is Underwear... I'm a fan of either Boxers or Boxer briefs. Which one I choose really depends on what kind of riding i'll be doing. If i'm sport/track riding i usually go with boxer briefs. They offer more support than boxers, but w/o the claustrophobic retristion of regular briefs. No tighty whities for this guy.

i try and have as much gear as possible just to be ready for almost anything

helmet ; arai rx7 corsair, scorpion exo-700 (backup)
leather ; A* p1 2-piece suit (track/street)
textile/mesh ; motogp 3-2-1 jacket (mesh for summer), ducati corse textile (for colder rides on the duc), first gear kilamanjaroo2 (for cold rides)
pants ; JR ballistic pants, icon superduty jeans
boots ; A* ridge boots (winter/rain), sidi vertigo's
gloves ; ducati corse leather gloves (dainese i think), a* drystar (cold/rain), JR mesh gloves (can't remember which ones)

'spose I should add that I use a Gerbings jacket and LL Bean flannel lined jeans (love the flannel lined jeans!) under my stich in cold weather; and that all three bikes have Kimpex grip heaters.
