Don't take it too hard as the seasoned riders are just concerned and want you to learn and have a fun and safe first season and not slide a brand new SS through the outside of a corner you can't handle. Although I will say concern is one thing but I wouldn't call you a fucktard for buying a brand new bike, on second thought I would but only cause I'm jealous.

i've been a member of gixxer for years, seen squids come and go. people on that site are dickheads because the sheer size of the site. when you have 70,000 members theres alot of bashing that takes place.

you can find tons of useful info if you post in the right section. post in your bikes section and you will get useful answers. post in the squid farm, anything goes, or general and you get the the douchebags and squids.

Re: gixxah.com thread - Re: Bike won't start after using NOS fuel additive

So I went to the store to look for NOS. Do I want orig? grape? sugar free? what one will make my gixxer have more nut?

I too was, kinda still am, a gixxer.com'er.
I like NESR a lot better for the obvious reasons. Sure you can get good info offa gixxer.com but if you don't spend 5-6 hours using the search button...well, the tards will reply and inform you of your wrong doing. Can the click back and ignore it? Naw. Can they offer up sound advice? Naw. They'll post just to tell you to use the search button.

My other favorite part was making damn sure I wanted to do something to my bike before actually doing it. I wanted to know how it would affect the ride, handling, etc. Yea nothing like getting called a troll because you want to be SURE of something before doing it. Unreal.

No- I didn't fuck the guys mom all those years ago (well, maybe I did).
However, I have posted sarcastically a few times about the mod I did to my riding mower:

    With pleasure!

    The 5-stage:

Yes- those are N20 pressure gauge faces:

I take it to car shows and other events and just place it in the cab:

    You wouldn't believe the comments/questions I get.

    - The 'large' bottle is a regular 2-litre bottle, painted with a blue that matches pretty damn close to the NOS blue.
    - The 'top' on the large bottle is a toilet tank flapper. Slits are cut in the bottom edge for the clear tubing to enter.
    - The tubing is regular ol' clear PVC. 1/4" ID, IIRC.
    - The gauges are bottle caps from plastic bottles, with a 3/8" hole drilled through them, then painted black.
    - The 'gauge glass' is actually the front half of a "googley eyes" pack I got at the craft store. I cut the back of the eyes off, and just used the clear plastic front. Snaps into place perfectly in the bottle caps.
    - The gauge face is from a gauge company's website. Photoshop'd, duplicated, printed.
    - Liquid Nails (clear) holds the small bottles to the 2-litre bottle.

Much like a SPARCO sticker low on the front fender or a set of vinyl racing stripes front-to-back, this mod is good for about 12-15HP right out of the box.

Re: gixxah.com thread - Re: Bike won't start after using NOS fuel additive

ok this spread from Gixxer.com to a couple other motorcycle forums and whatnot. that is to be expected. but imagine my surprise when this turned up on the title page of Jalopnik.com ( http://jalopnik.com/5264672/biker-dr...internet-laugh)

I know some of you read jalopnik because you linked to it before. so you probably know it is a real deal car website. how is this there? not to mention that this is probably a hoax anyways. and even if it was not it was kind of a let down after you accept he may have put it in his tank.
