No, Not that kind of advice you freaks!
My lady friend is looking for a jacket because she enjoys riding on the bike and I haven't bought a jacket for years so I'm looking for some help on what you girls find comfortable and affordable.
Thanks in advance!

I am a fan of the Powertrip line. I have a mesh and textile from them, and they both fit better than anything else I have seen. But, I have long arms and a short torso, so it may not work for her. I have only heard good things about the Joe Rocket stuff (though the arms are too short for me) as well. Icon makes a good selection of very girlie stuff (if she is very girlie), but I don't know much about their quality. Also, Shift has just come out with a lot of new women's gear that seems to be very nice quality, but again they don't fit me well, and I am not sure about their affordability.
Whatever you do, have her try everything on. She may be a small in one line and a large in another, some brands may fit and some may not.

If you run into a wall with a helmet on, you still ran into a wall.
My gf likes the Joe Rocket Alter-Ego (chick version) I got her last year.
I like the Alpinestars Stella line. They have a nice range of women's gear that is not outrageously expensive. Keep in mind that their sizing tend to run small though. I usually order one size up.

My wife loves Revit jackets (she has 2; a leather and a textile). Very nice-looking, top-quality stuff but not exactly inexpensive.
