GSXR wheel question

I just picked up an 07 GSXR600 front end for my SV, wondering what other wheels and years will work for this front end? I know 06/07 600 and 750, but I'm trying to broaden my search a little bit, these things are wicked pricey!

think you may be out of luck... the 04/05 is diff... and the 08/09 had diff. rotors (I believe).

i believe the front is the same up to 09 600/750

wheel, I can buy... Rotors - I dunno...

Used to know the details, no longer seeing suzukis in my sleep... Part #'s for Galfer front rotors:

GSXR750 2006-07 D419-2
GSXR750 2008-09 D656-2

GSXR600 2006-07 D419-2
GSXR600 2008-11 D656-2

I thought there was a slight diff. in width, maybe i'm wrong. Maybe it's a bolt pattern difference.

edit - looks like wheels/rotors went to 6 bolts instead of 5. If Jim says they are interchangeable based on dimensions, I'd beat him up if it doesn't work... I doubt an 08/09 wheel is going to be any cheaper though... I may be able to track one down for you if you get stuck.

Yeah I was worried about that, I was wondering about maybe other bikes that might fit like the Busa or something. It wouldn't be so bad if I didn't need a rain wheel too, I'm seeing them on Ebay selling for like 300 or so. I got all winter to look so I'll probably sit back and wait for something to come up...

A few bent ones on there for $100- 150, anyone ever have wheels straightened? I don't really care what it looks like when it's done, as long as it works.

I would stay away from bent wheels w/repairs on the track, as they bend easier the 2nd time around. They also cost about $100 to repair, so not worth buying and repairing. You should be able to net a front with rotors for $200 or less if you're patient.

I got a set for Rains at 250 and front rim will get 100-150.....


Try here...make a offer and hold out for a cheap one. Wera part out will prob be the cheap way..as ebay is way over priced.
