I've been F3 hunting, but the more I see 'em the more I like the VFR750. Anyone had any experience with them?
I've sat on one up at Depot before, but never taken one out. I'm looking for something relatively comfortable for long rides (although after the 'Gixxer, a piece of splintered plywood is the lap of luxury) as well as reasonably reliable..

If you are looking for a sport touring bike I have nothing but praise for the VFR, while they are not a bike for tricks, speed, or real fast riding, They are perfect for most riders. They have lots of bottom end, they are very comfortable, a good choice if you are happy at speeds of under 120mph and want to spend all day in the saddle, it would be one of my top choice in a bike, if this is the type of riding you plan on doing..Bob
For what it's worth Q, the VFR will most likely be the Tiller's stable mate within the next year or two. Personally, I'm waiting 'til they actually build a better one before it'll happen. But if that isn't their plan by the time I'm ready, I'll be in the market for a top-notch used 750 too...
I really like the styling of the new ones, and it's awesome they're FINALLY available with decent hardbags from the factory. But the fact that this one makes no more power than any of their 750's did really turns me off. I think they left out a few HP's in their engineering efforts...
Did you grit your teeth and try to look like Clint Fuckin' Eastwood?
Or did you lisp it all hangfisted like a fuckin' flower?
30k on this one..

But a) I can afford it, and b) If it needs a new motor, the rest of the bike's in great shape. And it has the coool single swingarm..![]()
Q, email this dude. He's looking to sell his last I knew...

I believe it's a '94, and I can vouch for its condition and the maintenance done to it. If ya do contact him, be sure to tell him I clued you in...![]()

First off a VFR is 10X better than an
F3 for everyday riding. It has torque
where you need it. Yes I would sell my
1995 750 for 4K. It has 29K on it, a 2-bros
slip on, and the stock pipe, the seat cowl
and passenger grab handles. I also have
lockable Hepco & Becker hard bags but those
are extra. If you want to see some pics
go to http://community.webshots.com/user/junkyard31
and look in the bike pics section.
Email me @ jsutton@gmavt.net if you're interested.
FYI I am in Vermont near MontP.
