Was taken from my home in Malden between the dates of July2-July7.
Bike was stripped of all plastics/gas tank etc at the time. I was in the process of painting the bike and doing body work. Which was almost done for the most part. Ducati race plastics were painted a sem-gloss black (same color as my old sv for those that remember). Solo tail section was unpainted (and needed body work). One distinctive thing about the plastics was that I deleted the left side headlight so that only one side of the headlight is shown.
Here's a list of parts I had on the bike :
Full ducati race plastics painted
termignoni half system
ohlins ttx rear shock
ohlins steering damper
carbon rear hugger
gilles tuning rearsets
there's more but i'm probably forgetting.
Few other distinctive things about the bike were:
Rear rim has a gouge in it at several spots (from when pitbike fell on the bike on the way to a ttd, some might remember the damage)
ohlins damper bracket has a gouge in it from rubbing against the kyle usa bracket.
shaved left side headlight (as said above).
Any info leading to recovery of bike/parts would greatly be appreciated. Info can be forwarded to duey170(at)gmail.com or PM via NESR.
Here's a link to photo's of the bike : http://duey170.smugmug.com/gallery/5...64708510_DzEnj
EDIT: Also if my fellow local ducati owners could keep an eye out on the ducati forums that would be greatly appreciated, there are far too many ducati forum/mailing lists for me to keep track of that stuff. Since my time is a bit limited I hope NESR can help me out with this part.
P.S. Sorry to all my friends on NESR that i have not kept in touch, lifes a bit rough at the moment and definately did not need this to happen at this point in life. I am not able to access internet/phone too often so email is the best way to keep in touch with me if you choose to do so. Also any urgent info can also be forwarded to Steve so he can pass it on to my wife quickly.

Wow Duey.... I will keep an eye out.... VERY unique bike... still have the laminx in yellow over the headlight?

Awe, damn sorry to hear that. I'll certainly try to keep an eye out for those details. They're still fairly rare bikes, so it may be obvious to spot. Is it possible to alert local Ducati shops about someone that may be coming in to buy bodywork or a new headlight assembly? Good luck with the search...
damn that is a pretty bike, ill keep an eye on on CL and stuff

Wasn't that the bike picture of the month a while back?

Same boat here my 250 (well my old 250 that I sold to my friend of 20 years that I consider mine as I can take it whenever I want) was stolen on friday
Unfortunately if it was out of sight it was someone that knows you and chances are if its been over a week its gonna be tough to recover.
Hopefully you have insurance taking care of it unlike the 250 which is just gone along with his sons 50...
Good luck and as I search for my buddies bike ill keep an eye out for yours.
There is absolutely nothing in this world I hate more than thieves.
Good luck

Btw I frequent a couple ducati forums and will definitely let you know if I see anything suspicious. From what I am finding out lately I can get in touch with a few local LEO in lowell and dracut and a statie in my area that can also get some paperwork going to start the search if that would help PM me contact info and ill pass it along to the same people looking out for my buddies dirtbikes.
From talking to just the local pd in my small town bike theft is growing very rapidly and everyone should be aware that their stuff needs to be secure at all times.
Also if you haven't already ill let seacoast know so they can watch out for anything suspicious. I was just there today and I am sure that patricia has already read this...

Fuck.
No other words my man.
I can keep an eye out. But if they weren't amateurs then it might
be in a container getting loaded on to a cargo ship bound for the middle east.
I hear folks in those oil rich states pay big money for hot bikes.
How did they get into your garage? Were you away from home?
Anyway hope you had full Ins. on it.

That's really shitty shit right there. I check the for sale section of ducati.ms and ducatispot almost everyday so I'll keep an eye out for anything that looks like it came off your bike.

Bad news.
I have posted the details on my "old" motorcycle forum back in Canada.
That forum covers the Toronto-Ottawa-Montreal area and is visited by folks who also race at the Calabogie Track.
It is a long shot but I'm sure it's better to have some "northern eyes" on the lookout just in case.
Cheers
