Years ago when I first starting riding, I was one of the people that would read and beleive what was in magazines. Of course it takes about a year of reading to get the truth when the same magazine has a completly different view...and spec numbers of the exact same bike a year later
I still get them, still read them sometimes while taking a shit, but don't pay much attention. Between the factories hype on their new models, and the mags false hype, it's turned into more of a let down to the reader IMHO.

On to the bikes in the comparo...the duc does nothing for me, style is typical ducati....blaaa, The S1000..or maybe it should be Kymco 1000rr?..great looking bike except the ugly duckling front end/headlights.

Agreed. I dont like the 1199 looks either. Id love to ride one though! The RSV4 makes me drool. The Japanese bike make me go blah....I like the exotics..$$$$
