..........got a conversation with a co worker, for some "bizzare" reason he has an affinity for the ROYAL ENFIELD bikes...anyway he stated thet they are the most popular motorcycle on earth......does anyone know what motorcycle holds that title?....i would be surprised if the RE is.....altho im sure there are a lot of those bikes in 3rd world countries.....whats are the actual stats on that?....i havent been able to find out yet....
thanks
Gotta be the honda super cub.
I wouldn't be surprised if some chinese manufacturer produced & sold more than any of the Japanese powerhouses.

Somebody told me today that of all the Kawasakis sold, the EX250 Ninja is their biggest seller! (no where near world domination though, I'm sure)
Ask me about Total Control ARC Level 1 and Level 2
in Troy, NY and Loudon, NH

I always thought the Boss Hoss would be a big seller.![]()
There have been over 50 million Honda Super Cubs produced, it is still going strong. This is for c50/c100 models.
I am pretty sure that another Honda wins for non, step through bikes. Another small one too. In places like Indonesia and Vietnam have big populations and the economy to afford normal people bikes Honda has dominated for some time via the super cub.
The cub is the winner for sure on powered two wheelers.
Me: "Normal people wouldn't do this."
Peter: "First you have to operationalize with normal is."
I can't believe I went through this entire thread without seeing any pictures.
I'm not sure if it's the world's most popular, but when I was in India the "hero honda" (and yes, all my relatives say it in that order) was fairly common
