HD makes a similat windscreen as clockworks. IMHO clockworks quality has dropped dramatically in the past couple years. We used to push their exhaust at work until the baffles kept falling out. Now we push the screamin eagle street cannons.

I'm told that with a bike like yours most of the buffeting comes from underneath the fairing. My vic doesn't have the fairing at all so the issue is a bit more complicated to correct. Without the shield there is no buffeting at all but wind blast at highway speeds becomes a problem just holding myself forward. Just ordered a backrest though so we'll see if that gives me enough support to leave the shield off for good or if i'll still need something for highway trips.

Based on what I've seen, most of the buffeting, on bikes like that, happens at the Golden Corral.

Take all you want but eat all you take.

I find I don't like tall wind screens. My FJR gave me bad turbulence, my friend's Norge is the same. It got to the point the only way I could ride the FJR was with the screen the whole way down and even then the turbulence was annoying. I love the no fairing on the MG, but on chilly mornings, I miss the turbulence.

OP, cool bike, enjoy it. We shouldn't buy bikes for others, just ourselves. If it fits and suits you, that's all that matters. It is a sharp ride.

If it has a backrest you should be ok. Hope your woman has a small ass though. Not much to the passenger seat on the flhx
