UPDATE: since the original thread is long gone i had to share a story. i was sitting on hot pit at NYST and i hear this guy ask another if they were a real club. the other answers NO its just him and a buddy. i look over and hes on a track prepped ZX10...all black...with NYC FASTEST on the side. on the helmet...SKANK. i chuckled and hoped that i could get out behind him to see him ride. i didnt get out right behind him so i lost sight of him. but i did end up catching up to him on about the 3rd lap.....when he was laying on the ground in turn 1.
thats all.

Never having met him, I give him credit for hitting track days and seeming to have a good attitude about it. I really have to wonder if he's just funnin' everyone. Then again, just saw a video about different states that said "New York - world's 14th largest city, world's biggest ego."

SHIT HAPPENS!! LITTEL DAMAGE TO BIKE AND I GOT A BROKEN SHOULDER BLADE OUT OF THE DEAL. I Hung out most of the day with the broken bone in lots of pain, didn't pack up and run home like a bitch. BUT ILL BE BACK IN FULL EFFECT ONCE I'M HEALED UP.

I am not an expert or even a qualified amateur but in the low side video there were a lot of things that looked totally wrong to me. I was trying to gauge his body position from the reflection of his helmet in the screen and at most leans it looked like the center line of his body was always in line with the center of the bike, also once he dropped the bike in the corner , the RPM's and speed kept dropping significantly, I was surprised he didn't low side earlier than he did. He was fast in a straight line but so is my 2 year old.
Don't want to beat him up too much, may be he is good at dodge ball and hence good at evasive maneuvers.

im assuming he was going slow due to lack of tire warmers. i know i was. about lap 3 i could start going faster. i think he got there on cold tires and tucked the front. the guy on the green bike that passed him on the straight also crashed right in front of him so he probably panicked, put an input into the bars on cold tires and binned it. the guy on the orange bike ,that passed him and was in front of him when he crashed, i think you know, josh gallusser. he races at NHMS.

Wasn't there a kid from RI that posted a video of him zipping through traffic in day light on his R1, the police tracked him down and nailed his ass. If I remember correctly he was already on some sort of probation and had the bike registered in his mom's name.
How come with a whole crew of folks posting regular videos of them running through NY at speeds in excess of 180 mph doesn't garner the same scrutiny? Not just the channel but their statements about some people losing their lives whilst racing and still getting no love from the LEO's is startling.
