Nice.
The way they made it sound I didn't think buying the proper tool was even an option. I'll pick one up when I get around to tweaking it. I think its pretty good as is.
They've definitely got it.. the dealer might have to order it but it's there, the part # for the tool is probably in the service manual.
This is the new stupidity.. they are taking some of the tools out of the toolkit to save money and screw owners. Not including the shock wrench is really annoying but for example for 2007 Honda supposedly is not giving you the spark plug wrench in the kit anymore.. since they claim they barely ever need checking anymore and you should be paying a dealer to do it anyway.
I was able to get everything set back to stock but the rear spring. This is my first bike, and I was a little put off at the thought of messing with my own suspension. I just had no idea it would be so easy to set everything back to stock.
As far as Suzuki not including the wrench necessary to adjust the rear spring, I'm not to bothered by it. If it looks anything like the other tools they provided, I wouldnt use it anyway.
The tools look like they should be sold by Fisher Price. Cheap cast steel. I dont trust them not to break at the wrong time, or (if they're even hard enough) to strip something.
95% of the bolts that you can see on the bike are allen head bolts. Guess what else wasn't included.
You mean there's people that do that? Like, for a living?Originally posted by gmdboston
