I figured there's very little chance that's his bike, but it just happens to be the same year and color (and how many people in new england bought a 2001 yellow zx7r? ) so just wanted to make sure the squid still has all his tentacles, as it were.

That's not his bike... I have a picture or two of his somewhere. He didn't have that japanese sticker, he had a different screen, he had funky lights/signals, and he had the indiglo dash stuff. (Not that those last 2 are visible in those pics)

ISTR he had at least 20k miles on his bike too.

Last I talked to him, he was enroute to FL I believe. And that was a few weeks back.

never even thought about the mileage.

Glad it's not him. Never good to hear about someone you know going down.
