Interesting. A Street Triple is not the most obvious bike to base a cafe racer on, but dammit, it works! This thing is beautiful.

looks sweet
the wrap could have been done better though, seems messy. (i love the look + function of wrap)

I like it. Minus the wrap, and maybe the checkers, it's how that thing should've been built to begin with.

I still like the stock Trip dual headlights, other than the lack of those, it's sexy!

For my bank account's sake, that's the last thing I need to see. Every time I sit on one of those at the dealer I have to tear myself away.
Really beautiful customization though, looks really classic and balanced. I'm surprised it looks as good as it does.

The wrap doesn't get any cleaner than that. There are balance tubes between each pipe just off the motor. And down at the bottom where the pipes turn toward the back of the bike , the pipes are so close together that you can't fit the wrap in between the pipes so you have no choice but to wrap them all together.
When I start my KTM in the morning, rules are broken. Its inevitable...

no, i know, my Buell was the same way in sections. i meant the overlap spacing and tightness in flat areas like the rear pipes. maybe it's just the pics but it looks uneven and loose.
no biggie, super sweet ride. love the single headlight!

So, added a checker to the tail, lowered bars, exhaust, single headlight and a bellypan? Am I missing anything?
I realise it's not necessarily 'traditional', but think it would benefit, as a 'cafe racer' from a fly screen...!

^ and bar end mirrors... agree it's pretty basic but looks way better than that stock photo.
